Recently, we started to think… people usually associate ‘storage’ with; grueling, exhausting packing, moving and too much effort! We want to put the fun back into storage and remind people that moving and using self storage can be easy.

The idea behind our Storage Deluxe videos is to do just that. If you have been following us or have ever stored with us you know that we work hard every day to make your move as easy and convenient as possible. We feel like, although you can never do enough to meet customers’ needs, we’re definitely a cut above the rest. What’s missing?  Fun, excitement, laughter and entertainment, but, we know exactly where to find this; in our customers units. We want to see you’re storing with us and why. Not only will this information help ignite the passion we feel for storage in others, but we believe we can find in these units the key to what makes storage interesting and fun again! It will also give us the opportunity to reward people for storing with us!

It’s as easy as writing on our Facebook discussion wall. We want to know the unusual storage items, weird storage items, and items that are exciting, wacky, interesting, bizarre, unique, big, small, old and new…. We want to hear about it all, we live for this stuff! We’ve seen some of the most interesting things stored and we would like to be able to join forces with you and show America what storage is all about, but we need your help!

The idea, ‘one man’s trash is another man’s treasure,’ has been taken to a whole new level! The History Channel is debuting their new show, “Storage Wars,” a reality show about storage! The show is focusing on abandonded storage units that are put up for auction. We know, it sounds crazy, but people really do leave their items behind.  And the “Wars” start when the untouched units are sold off to the highest bidder—who never gets to see what is inside until they have paid for their winning bid.

We cant wait to see what they find behind those unit doors on the new show. We can only imagine, having seen what some lucky bidders have found at our own storage units over the years.  We have seen some of the craziest, wackiest, most bizarre and strange storage items, some we will never understand why people left behind!

But more than seeing what people leave behind, we love helping people who hang on to their units store their precious items.  We know those items are often so much more than items—they are memories and sometimes even dreams… which has given us an idea!
